Ms. Lily is a lovely counselor at ASEM Vietnam Campus 2. She often says “Hello” to every student coming in the school to help them develop their reaction to English. One day, Ms. Lily was very busy doing the check-in for new students. Boby, a TN3 student (TN3: Tiny Talk – English for Kindergarten, level 3), came in but Ms, Lily didn’t notice him. Seeing Ms. Lily being very busy, he stood near the gate door waiting for her. After finishing the check-in, Ms. Lily, as usual, rang the bell. But when coming back, she saw Boby still stood there at the gate door. She then keed down besides him with a soft voice of a mother to her son.
– Ms. Lily : Boby, go to your class?
– Boby : (crying a bit) Teacher…no…hello…Boby.
– Ms. Lily : (feeling understood and sorry) Oh, hello, Boby. How are you?
– Boby : (smiling) Hello, teacher! I’m fine, thank you, and you?
– Ms. Lily : (kissing Boby) I’m good. Ok, go to class, Boby.
– Boby : Yes. Good-bye teacher!
– Ms. Lily : Good-bye Boby.
Boby made Ms. Lily feel happy and even taught her a valuable lesson. From that moment on, everyday, even when being very busy, she always notices the gate door so as to say “Hello” to every student coming in.
